Welcome to Strawbale Café!

Café opening times
We are now open from Wednesday to Sunday - 11am to 4pm.  (Click here to check on events for opening party).  

We are also hire the space out on the Monday and Tuesday, catered or uncatered, at £20 per hour.  Tea, coffee and cakes from £2.00 to £5.00 per person.  For more information, please contact us on 02076090467. 

The café building
The café has been built by farm volunteers out of traditionally jointed green oak with straw bale insulated walls and a green roof.  The café seats around 24 people with outdoor seating for a further 20 in the garden.

Café menu
The café will be vegetarian serving freshly made soups, salads and snacks.  Blackboard specials will change daily and there will also be a selection of cakes and pastries as well as a healthy eating children's menu.
We will be serving coffee, a selection of teas, fresh juices and smoothies.  All proceeds from the café will go towards keeping the farm open and developing new farm projects.  The café will be partly run by volunteers and will provide a training programme and work experience for young people.
