Ducks

India Runners
Despite their name, these birds do not come from India, but the Far East. They distinguish themselves from other ducks by standing straight up, resembling the stature of a penguin rather than a duck. Indian Runners don't fly, but can walk for miles; they are not very choosy when it comes down to laying their eggs, and will leave them behind wherever they happen to be.

Muscovy Ducks
Muscovy Ducks originate from South America. For a long time, people could not decide whether these were ducks or geese; we now know that they are definitely ducks. The male is almost twice as big as the female and does not quack, but hisses. Despite their clumsy appearance, Muscovy ducks like perching high up in trees. Although often seen in parks, Muscovy ducks must be protected against cold temperatures.
