PARTNERSHIP WITH CO-OP

RAISING FUNDS FOR GREEN CARE

Thank you to all Co-op members and staff for supporting the Farm over the last year as a local charity partner.  This meant that co-op members, directed some of the 1% that the Co-op donates of every member purchase to charity to the farm. The £2289 raised is contributing to the costs of providing therapeutic farming and gardening activities for local people to improve physical and mental health and well-being through contact with animals, plants and the natural environment.

Visitors are encouraged to explore the gardens, pick up tips on food growing and find out about seasonal produce. Our garden models food growing alongside shrubs and flowers, to create an ornamental kitchen garden. Heritage fruit trees line the walk to  the paddocks, plus our espalier, fans and cordon trees fit even a small growing space.
